Rob and his wife Alison moved to Christchurch in September 2015 from Langney in Eastbourne where Rob had been leading a church for over 12 years.<\/p>\n
Rob has a diverse work background including sheet metal fabrication, sales and senior management as well as church leadership.<\/p>\n
In the mid-90s Rob was leading a church planting project among a vibrant, multi-national ex-patriot community on the small island of Cheung Chau near Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
In addition to church leadership Rob and Alison are involved in the work of \u2018member care\u2019 or the pastoral support of missionaries and overseas Christian workers through their organisation called Brook Besor which leads Rob and Ali into ministry in other countries from time to time teaching, preaching and debriefing as well as at their home.<\/p>\n
Ali is a trained counsellor with a local private practice, but gets involved with the church too. They have two grown up children, Jotham and Nathan, both of whom are actively involved in church both here at Twynham and elsewhere.<\/p>\n
Rob has a BA Honours Degree in Applied Theology from Moorlands College, but don\u2019t let that put you off \u2013 he is a really down to earth easy to talk to guy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
